Important Information About Airport Transfers

Trafalgar provides a courtesy shuttle from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) to your hotel on the scheduled arrival day only. Please check your itinerary for exact transfer times.

After collecting your luggage and exiting customs, proceed to the airport information booth at the center of the Arrivals level (E0) in Terminal 1 — located in front of the stairs and escalators leading to the train station. This applies for arrivals from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

We will be operating two transfers, departing the airport at 10:30 and 13:30.

Your Travel Director will meet you there shortly before the coach departs.

If you arrive outside the group transfer times and haven’t arranged a private transfer, you’ll need to make your own way to the hotel at your own expense.

Taxi Option

🚖 Use only official taxis from the rank just outside the terminal. Avoid any unofficial offers inside the terminal — these are often scams.

💶 A standard taxi to Hilton Berlin costs approximately €60–75, depending on traffic and time of day. The journey takes around 35–45 minutes.

There are no refunds for unused transfers, including in cases of flight delays or missed connections.

Hilton Berlin is in a fantastic central location, perfect for exploring on your own. Within walking distance, you’ll find:

Gendarmenmarkt (just outside the door) — home to the French and German Cathedrals and the Konzerthaus
Unter den Linden boulevard, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, and Museum Island — all reachable on foot in 15–25 minutes
Great cafés, restaurants, and shops in every direction

🚇 Closest U-Bahn (Metro):

Stadtmitte Station (U2 and U6 lines) — just a 4-minute walk from the hotel

From here, you can easily reach Alexanderplatz, Tiergarten, Kurfürstendamm, and more. Buses and taxis are also readily available right outside the hotel.

Whether you feel like strolling, shopping, sightseeing, or just people-watching in a beautiful square, you’re in the perfect place to start exploring Berlin.
